You can delete your OwnMyDay account and all of the data we hold about you at any time. No forms to fill in, no “are you sure?” traps. Pick whichever method is easier for you.
Delete from inside the app
The quickest way — takes about 30 seconds.
- Open OwnMyDayMake sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to SettingsTap the menu icon, then Settings → Account.
- Tap “Delete account”Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are queued for deletion immediately.
Ask us to delete it
Prefer to have a human handle it, or having trouble logging in? Email us.

We typically reply within 1–2 business days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following from our production systems within 30 days:
- Your account record (email, display name)
- Your saved schedules and tile sets
- Uploaded photos and audio recordings stored on our servers
- Clinic sharing links tied to your account
- Crash logs and diagnostics associated with your account
What won't be deleted
- Subscription records — payment records held by Apple or Google are governed by their policies, not ours. To cancel your subscription, visit the App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Anonymised aggregate data — data that can no longer identify you (e.g. “how many schedules were created last month”) may be retained.
- Legal records — records we are required by law to keep (such as tax records relating to paid subscriptions).
Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop billing, open the App Store or Google Play, find OwnMyDay, and cancel the subscription — then delete the account.
Can I get my data back?
No. Deletion is permanent. If you're not sure, sign out of the app instead — signing out doesn't delete anything.
